Hey sweet thang! I had a crazy busy past couple hours, but I did tons of fun things I’m so so excited to share with you all. I had the wonderful opportunity to partner with tons of amazing brands over the weekend for a pretty delicious time.
Friday night I was invited to a blogger preview at The Baked Bear‘s new location in Gilbert. We snacked on some AH-MAZ-ING treats. The Baked Bear’s original location is in San Diego, but the company has expanded across the United State in five states with expansions in the works to four more states.
The Baked Bear is known for their scrumptious, made from scratch ice cream sandwiches. My blue Bear Batter ice cream was smushed in a sandwich of their cookie of the month, Bear Tracks. To top it off, my sandwich was rolled in funfetti sprinkles! At Baked Bear, you can also get your sandwich heated so it’s nice and ooey-gooey. That Bear Batter was probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had. I’m a sucker for anything cake batter flavored, and is there anything more photogenic than sprinkles!?
The new Baked Bear in Gilbert is located in SanTan Village! The shop is bathed in blue with plenty of walls for fabulous Instagram photos. Of course, the people working at the location are simply the sweetest as well.
Before and after my fun night out, I ran errands galore! Doesn’t sound like a lot of fun, right? WRONG! I love running around Mesa and Gilbert. I picked up some clothing, did a quick shoot in Downtown Gilbert with a new blogger bestie, Jaslynn from Chic & Jazzy, and got my hair done by the fabulous Mary at 20 Volume Aveda salon (I can’t rave enough about 20 Volume).
Of course I may have stopped for The Soda Shop to keep myself fueled! If you follow me on Instagram, you know The Soda Shop is a little cup of happiness for me. A fun drink from their sweet staff is a simple and cheap way to make my day brighter. Next time you’re there, ask for a Princess Peach off their secret menu!
Looking cute just adds to the feel good feels! I drove all around Mesa/Gilbert in the most comfortable and flattering dress from XOmandysue. The Shorewash Dress definitely was stylish and functional with its sturdy pockets, cinched waist and flirty skirt. The dress retails for $45 , but the sweet people at XOmandysue are letting me treat you to a huge discount with the code ‘CATHERINE35’ that you can use on your entire purchase. WHOOP WHOOP!
No matter what you did this weekend, I hope you enjoyed the weather and let your mind relax. Things don’t always go perfectly, but sunny days, shopping and ice cream can make for a great weekend.
